Sustainable use of materials, and creative re-use have always been part of every Out There Project. We’ve recycled scrap wood in our insect houses, collected broken ceramics for a mosaic project and used upcycled clothing for textile projects. Continuing this theme, we’re planning a course this Spring all about garden recycling projects.
You’ll get the chance to make unique bird-feeders, plant labels and containers, and visit the KS&W allotment for green inspiration.
We’ll be advertising details of this four-week course shortly. Watch this space!
The course is part of the KS&W Ecominds funded Out There project. As part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces programme, Mind has funded 130 environmental projects in England to provide a range outdoor of outdoor green activities that enhance well-being.
